Tour our booth - part 1

Recently we introduced new fabric lines to quilt shop owners at Fall Quilt Market in Houston, Texas. Today and tomorrow, we'll take you on a tour of our booth--there's so much to see!

First, an overall look:

Right side

Today we'll be sharing the quilts and fabric lines on the left side of the booth. Stop back tomorrow to see those on the right side!

We're very excited about Shannon Brinkley's first collection, Dryad. Here's the "Dryad" free quilt pattern we'll be offering with Shannon's line, made using a Snack Pack.

At Quilt Market, we also launched a brand new line of solids, called Painter's Palette Solids. You won't believe the quality, and the color selection is amazing (as you can see below!). The quilt is "Color Wheel" by Barb Eikmeier and Maria Pate.

And just for fun, a few coordinating table runners...

Summer of the Snack Pack! (and giveaway winner)

We've recently added a couple new free quilt patterns that you can download right from the blog. And in case you've been outside enjoying the start of summer rather than taking a daily perusal of all the tabs on the blog, we wanted to point them out to you.

We're declaring this the Summer of the Snack Pack! When outdoor activities are calling your name, you can still get some quilting done quickly with pre-cut strips. Try these free patterns; while they're designed specifically for the fabric line featured, they'd work great with any of our snack packs!

Perfect Precuts: Snack Packs

We've been mentioning Snack Packs a lot recently on the blog but haven't really officially introduced them to you. We're very excited about them--there's nothing like precut fabric strips to make a quick project even quicker! All bundled up in one handy package--just grab, go, and sew!

Our snack packs contain forty-two 2-1/2" wide strips of fabric from a particular collection. While there are plenty of patterns for precut strips available either online, in quilt shops, in magazines, or in books, we've got a nice little collection of free downloadable pdfs here on the blog as well.

See the tab above that says "Free Quilt Patterns"? That's where you'll find our Snack Pack quilt patterns and other freebies, and we'll be adding to it periodically.

If your local quilt shops isn't carrying our Snack Packs, ask them to so you can get started!

Here's a list of some of our fabric collections currently available in Snack Packs:

Come tour our booth!

Welcome to our little virtual tour of the Fabri-Quilt/Paintbrush Studio booth from Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh!

We'll give you an overview and then get in close at some of the details so you can see the fabric and quilts featured.

From the aisle:

The chair covers are made from Imagine This! fabric. If you look closely, you can see the paint palette-shaped tables, echoing the Paintbrush Studio logo.

A view from the opposite side. That's the Fabulous Frames quilt featuring the Elemental Lines collection right in the middle--you can find the free pattern here.

A view from the corner--love the ruffled skirt made out of the indigo prints from Bella Casa!

That's the Circles and Squares quilt using the Cosmopolitan collection on the back wall (find the free pattern here!).

And hanging off the top edge? A tote made using green cowhide with a touch of Cosmopolitan. And the yellow behind the tote? that's cowhide too! More on the cowhide to come...you'll love it!

The Designing Duo's Imagine This! played prominently in the booth--in addition to the chair covers, you can see one of Linda Carlson's quilts using the fabrics draped over the table here.

And a few more hanging on the wall, as well as some bags and purses.

A good look at the free pattern quilt, also named "Imagine This."

Rolls of our vibrant batiks displayed on the wall. Have you seen them? Check out all 70+ colors and designs here!

Remember Piccadilly from this post? Here it's used in a trendy patchwork vest.

We even had a garden growing--our "Snack Packs": packages of pre-cut 2-1/2" wide strips. What a bouquet those would make!

And finally, we introduced a program we're really excited about: an upcoming Block of the Month club featuring the new Windsor Woods collection.

Here's a photo of the BOM quilt; make sure you ask about it at your local quilt shop!

We hope you enjoyed this brief tour of our Quilt Market booth!
