On Your Mark Create! Hop - Day 3

Ready for ten full days of On Your Mark inspiration?

Ten designers received the twelve On Your Mark fat quarters you see below.
We can't wait to share what these they have made! Each day we'll share a sneak peek here of a designer's project; you can use the links to visit their social media and learn more. You'll also have a chance to win a fat quarter bundle of On Your Mark fabrics. If these prints are on your "must-have" list, you can purchase this bundle right here

Why not wear your favorite fabrics? Today's designer on the hop, Stephanie Ruyle (@spontaneousthreads) sewed the Black Clamshell print into a skirt and added some personalized elements that we just love (hello, right hand pocket, contrasting fabric insets!)

Stephanie says, "Simone's fabric is both fun and versatile, suitable for quilts, quilted items and garments. The playful prints are both bold and subtle, and have a range that makes mixing and matching quite easy. I made a garment (cute self drafted skirt) because I'm in a clothing construction mood and was inspired by Simone's own wardrobe at QuiltCon. The skirt I made is suitable for winter/spring in Colorado, when it can be snowing one minute and sunshiny the next. The skirt I made will look equally at home paired with boots or sandals and has construction detailing on both the front and the back, which to me is a very important design feature. (It's all about the details)."
Read through Stephanie's technique for the fun print insets on her blog; follow her on IG here. She also has a FQ On Your Mark bundle to give away.
