In Love with Tree Skirts!

It's started. Parking lots are transforming into Christmas tree lots, and you pass cars on the road with a prickly green visitor tied to the top. Whether you're on team live tree or artificial all the way, what every tree needs is a great tree skirt.

We've compiled some of our favorites on our Holiday Quilting Projects board. Sure, it may not be a project you finish for this year, but what's one more UFO?!

Need more inspiration? Check out our holiday fabric lines below and ask for them at your local quilt shop.

Ahhh....Flannel!

Is there any month that holds more flannel appeal than January?
February, maybe, but it would be a close finish.

Quilters and Wine!

Beyond peanut butter and jelly, or cheese and crackers, what are common pairings that come to mind? Quilters and chocolate, definitely. And don't forget quilters and wine!

Our new collection, Wine Country, is definitely for Wine Lovers. A cool bottle stripe, grapes (of course), and two fun prints that take the idea of a "text print" to a whole new level. We're showing the fabrics with some coordinating colors from our Painter's Palette Solids collection as well.

Solids shown (l to r from top row): Old Green, Taupe, Bordeaux, Teal, Claret, Green Sheen and Mist

Don't forget the pre-quilted print--perfect for quick wine bags!

We've created a Wine Love Pinterest board, which includes not only a few fun sewing patterns (wine tote, wine bottle gift bags, a quilt...) but also some other fun wine-related ideas, such as ways to repurpose empty bottles and corks. Head over and take a look!

See the Wine Country collection here and ask for it at your local quilt shop.

Inspired by...Solids!

Are you inspired by solids? There's so much possibility, so many quilts to make using the 80+ colors in our new Painter's Palette solid collection!

We've been compiling a Pinterest board of gorgeous quilts to make with solids. On the board, you'll find both quilts that have been made with solids already, and quilts made with tonals that we think would look equally (if not more?) impressive made with solids.

Which is your favorite? How many are you pinning or adding to your "quilts to make" list?
Let us know, and ask for Painter's Palette solids at your local quilt shop!
