We're all ears!

In addition to getting ready for Quilt Market next week, we have a big announcement coming soon on the blog! Stay tuned...

But before we get to that, we want to hear from you. What would you like to see on this blog?

  • New fabric lines?
  • Free quilt patterns?
  • Free smaller sewing project patterns?
  • Interviews with designers?
  • Information about projects featured in magazines?
  • What else?

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts by leaving a comment below. As a thank you for doing so, we'll randomly select a winner from the comments to receive a fabric gift! Though you're welcome to leave a comment at any time, to be eligible for the giveaway, you must comment by Sunday, October 21 at

  5. I love free patterns of course but it's great to see what is going on in the world. Since I can't be "everywhere," at every show, in every country, I love seeing what all the talented people all over are up to.

  9. All of the ideas are good, but I favor the free patterns for quilts or smaller projects. However, the info found in magazines is also an interesting thought!

  10. All of the ideas sound great, but I'm especially fond of the free quilt patterns, small project ideas and tutorials. New fabrics is great also, as I'm not close in distance to many quilt shops so online shopping is great. Thanks.

  14. I like small projects , tutorials and learning new techniques. I'd like to learn about how fabric is made, printed, and what finishes are applied to it. Why does some fabric fray more than others? Thanks so much for listening to our ideas. tkmattson@hotmail.com

  15. As an online shop owner I love for my quilters to be able to view all your ideas. I also love reading about all the new fabrics and the designers. One thing you could add is maybe once a week do a feature on someone working for Fabri-Quilt. It could be someone in the office or even a sales rep. I think it's fun to get to know the people running the company. Thanks sherene@fabricquiltshop.com

  18. Free small projects as well as quilts would be appreciated. Fixed incomes sometimes make it hard to aquire new patterns. Love to see all the new fabrics available. Inspires me to use up more of the stash so I can get some of the newer prints.
    Thanks.
