It's the last day of our On Your Mark Create! Hop! We hope you've enjoyed following along and seeing all of these fantastic projects! 

For our day on the hop, we couldn't resist revisiting one of our most popular tutorials from the blog: Tulip Time! Simone's bright, springy prints and low-volume coordinates are perfect for this easy wall hanging. 

Hello, tulips!


Choosing which low-volume print to pair with each bright print was half the fun of sewing this quilt.



We added a scrappy pieced border around the basic tulip and pinwheel center and finished with the Gray Scallop binding print for binding.

Joan's  (@alaskanquilter) sneak peek is saturated with color--wait until you see the whole quilt! We love how the low-volume background makes the colors pop.

Joan says, "When I first saw Simone’s new fabrics at QuiltCon in February, I was immediately drawn to their vivid, clear colors and fun, fresh graphics. Stitching up a project with them shortly thereafter was the perfect way for me to transition from the last dreary days of the Alaskan winter to the brightness of the coming Spring!"

Linda says, "As you can see, I love hand quilting and rainbow colors. The colors of these fabrics inspired me to create a sort of rainbow."
