QuiltCon with Jacquie Gering

We really enjoyed spending time with Modern Quilt Guild chairman Jacquie Gering at QuiltCon. A fellow Kansas City resident, Jacquie has become a huge fan or our Painter's Palette Solids. She created this fabulous art wall for our booth--different stitching motifs using her walking foot.

We know you want to look closer! Here are some close ups:

Jacquie also offered a demo: Beyond Lines: Quilting Innovative Designs with the Walking Foot (still using our solids!) and held a book signing in our booth.

Here's Jacquie talking up our 168 Painter's Palette Solids colors during the demo:

Demonstrating some walking foot quilting, using dots to guide her stitch lines:

Jacquie's demo was hugely popular, and much of the crowd then shifted to our booth for her book signing. Everyone waiting in line got to touch our Painter's Palette Solids while they waited.

Jacquie is as wonderful in person as she appears in her books, videos, and lectures.

Thanks, Jacquie, for spending time with us at QuiltCon! We're glad you love our Painter's Palette Solids as much as we do!

  1. I saw many photos of her quilted panels in my IG feed during QuiltCon--very effective use of PBStudios Solids, and really fun to see her creativity in quilting!
